Marathon County | 212 River Drive
Dynamic provided the HVAC design for the replacement of the existing equipment serving the Marathon County building with all new equipment and a DDC system that was connected to the county building automation system.
The project was phased in order to maintain the existing building operations as 212 River Drive is home to the Veterans Department, Parked & Recreation Department, UW-Extension, and hosts community events in the training and conference rooms. The mechanical work consisted of demolishing two (2) existing constant air volume air handling units located above the ceiling with grade mounted condensing units that was a consistent source of accessibility and occupant comfort issues. The new design provided a single new rooftop unit with reinforcing and a platform for improved serviceability. Inside the building the building was completed rezoned with multiple VAV boxes and perimeter radiation served by two (2) gas fired condensing boilers for increased system efficiency.
