Temp-Air | Watertown Facility
Dynamic designed an industrial facility to support the sales of temporary heating and cooling equipment for buildings under construction. The facility consists of shop workstations, part storage, warehousing, a wash bay, a paint booth, reconditioning space, testing, and an office space with mezzanines.
The design of the industrial space includes an infrared radiant heating system consisting of ten (10) low-intensity, tube type heaters that heats the entire space for low energy consumptions compared to forced air, gas fired make-up air unit systems. The building also includes two (2) gas fired make-up air units that are only operated when building exhaust is enabled to maintain building pressurization due to equipment testing. The office space is served by a 6-ton rooftop unit mounted on grade with VAV boxes with electric reheat.
The building is also provided with a natural gas and propane piping distribution piping that is utilized for equipment testing and check-out prior to renting the equipment.
